MC² Juniors explore identity and culture through art

Students from English classes at both schools completed this project as their cumulating portfolio piece. Spanish speaking students collaborated with USM’s Honors Spanish Three students as well. Students explored identity and cultural similarities and differences through art installations. Projects included Mud Stencils, Banksy Style Stickers, a projected video project, and a phrase campaign. These projects were featured as a Community Story by Radio Milwaukee 88.9 and have been posted on a website. (See below) Educators from MC² and USM are looking forward to making this project a regular feature of the Junior English curriculum!
